Our rapidly advancing pipeline is focused on two therapeutic areas that target some of the world’s most widespread diseases and unmet medical needs: pain/inflammation and metabolic disease. Kalypsys has two clinical-stage molecules and is actively advancing additional compounds to IND.
KD7040
KD7040 is a topically administered iNOS inhibitor. An IND was filed in 4Q06, and a Phase IIa clinical proof of concept trial in patients with post herpetic neuralgia will be completed in 2008. A second Phase IIa trial to expand the indication range in a more inflammatory form of neuropathic pain, specifically carpal tunnel syndrome, will be initiated in 2008.
KD3010
KD3010 is an orally administered PPAR δ specific agonist. An IND was filed in 2Q06 with Phase Ia and Phase Ib clinical trials completed in 2008. Back to Top
